This career is very exhausting and the university doesn´t help so much. In this university, the workload is very heavy: in workshop, we have to make models and blades all the time, and for the others subject we don’t have time for studying or making works, like a presentations or essays. The time extra that require all the subjects is illogical in respect with the time that we have, its impossible.

The only option is always have priorities, make the models and work of workshop and after studying for the other subject (if you reach). It’s so exhausting mindly and physidly.

Besides, there are some subject that in my opinion are not necessaries , such as PHS for example; Is a subject that in some future maybe might be useful, but now are not, or the CFG (.general training course) that really they don’t serving for nothing.  Also, might add in the curriculum some course of digital work or workshop about programs like cad or Photoshop, because we learning alone and could be very useful for workshop.

The faculty don’t have the necessary equipment that we need, starting for the infrastructure; cold rooms in Winter and hot rooms in Summer. The sound is unbearable, especially in rooms next to yard roofed. Missing more fresh spaces for relaxing and working because with the hall it's not enough.

The teachers in general are very good, with professional career very awesome and I am very according with this, but the faculty have to get better the infrastructure and the schedules, because the time that we give to the subject is illogical.

What is your opinion about water scarcity?

The water is the basic element for make life. If there is no water, there is no life. Moreover, I don’t understand why is too difficult that the people realize that. In El Cabo, south Africa, they are in a crisis of water; they even talked about day 0, where everyone would be without water. There are be aware about environments problems because is more serious that we think.

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in all cases?

I thing that the abortion should be a right for every woman. Is much more responsible that than bring a baby without money, a home and love. There is many people against the abortion and I respect his opinion, nothing is forcing anyone to abort. I would not do it.

What is your opinion about tattoos?

I love tattoos. I don’t have anyone but one day I will have one. Esthetically the tattoos is very beautiful and personal, represent our tastes and thoughts. Is take in your skin something about your personality, memories and people. I don’t know if the tattoos remain a difficulty for find job. I hope no. 

What is your opinion about television?

The television is very indifference for me. And for many people actually. With internet and Netflix the people is happier that see something imposing for the television. If I want to see a news I reading a news in internet, all the information is in internet. In a short time, the television will extinguish and I didn’t care.

M O V I E S

I LOVE watching movies. In the vacations, everything I did was watch series until 4 am and was so perfect. Now, with the university, works and tests I don’t have time for see nothing. However, there is something that I don´t miss for anything in the world: “American horror story”. Every year, in October or November, they take out a new season, although this year I missed it L

Whatever, the series I recommend it very much, every season is different to the others, have a thematic of suspense that catching, is so great. I see this series from 4 years and since I see the first episode, I loved the actors and the atmosphere of the series. You should see American, is impossible that you don’t like it.

Moreover, the movies… I love movies, I already told but is the true, I love them. My favorite type of movie is mystery or suspense, of murders and detectives, like “Se7en” or “Shutter Island”, two of my favorite movies. These movies have something that make it special: the surprise final. I will don’t talk anymore about these movies, but you have to see them, they are too good.

Is impossible that I don´t talk about my favorite director if I talk about cinema: Burton. This man have beautiful movies like “Nightmare before Christmas”, “Beetlejuice” or “BIG FISH”, my favorite movie of all times. This movie in special is the most beautiful movie in the world, I recommend it too.

Industrial design

One of my first options that I had when I left at school was architecture and industrial design. This career is so interesting for me, because consist in occupy the imagination and create things so different to the ordinaries and normal things. And this is what makes it so interesting to me, make a normal object something totally new and unique.
Besides is very interesting because this two careers can mixed in particular occasions, how it happens with very architects in the history, as Lina bo Bardi for example. Lina is one of my favorite architect, she have incredible works like glass house, the MASP, SESC Pompeia, etc. and she have incredible design works like the chair bowl, a so cute chair with a metal structure that supports a seat that is a fragment of a sphere. 

It's so simple but also is very ergonomic, and very beautiful. create buildings and create objects is part of de same world: create things for the human and his welfare

I would like to study this career after finishing architecture because I feel it would be useful to have more design knowledge and because I like it a lot, it's a very interesting career that helps to think, use the imagination and propose ideas out of the ordinary.

Maybe one day.

Photography like a social document

The photography is a way of show us the reality of the society. Through of the history, many people have portrayed moments very important that now, are iconic and so interesting.

For example, the photography in de wars or in conflicts of countries, show us of a very crude way a so strong reality of poverty and violence. The photography is an implement that serves to freeze ideas and facts for the future generations.

This photography, for example, is very famous and was taken for Eddie Adams to a guerrilla of Vietcong (National Front for the Liberation of Vietnam), while being shoot.

Exist a question about this photo, is a morbid or just information? Is very dramatic this image, and maybe take a photo like this and do nothing for stopping the shooting… I don´t know.

Another photo very famous is this, taken in 1989 in China for Jeff Widener. It shows a man in front of war tanks, in the middle of the street. This photograph represents the rebellion and the individual power to stop the government and force a change in the policy.

The photography is a means to inform us of our own history, like the books or articles, but better because you can see the past with your own eyes and draw your own conclusions.

The future

I’ve never had very clear what to do after studying architecture, I always knew that I wanted study this career, because I like the history of the cities and the buildings, I liked the idea of learning new things, like the space and emptiness, or the colors, how people behave in a determined place or city, I don’t know, things that don’t teach you at school.

But one of the things that I would like to do is travel. I would love to have a work that let me travel around the world, visit thousand beautiful places, Europe, Australia, etc.

Really I don’t care the salary, only that I reach for good living and travel.

I would like have my own office someday, design and make my own projects, but before I would like know the world, live in another country, work overseas. Keep learning in an office with architects, in another county, must be very good for my career and my life basically.

It’s so strange to think about the future because I can’t even imagine it, and also I don´t have very clear yet, but I know that if working in a job that teaches me new things and let me travel, I would be very happy.

And Maggie makes three...

One of the series that I saw when I was little is the Simpson. Is a series very interesting and comic, specially the first episodes. There are characters that I like more than others, but all of them have a particular characteristic that makes them fascinating.

My favorite character is definitely Maggie. Is so adorable and funny and is a character very undervalued, is intelligent and ripe, despite being a baby.

Moreover, and for the same reason, one of my favorite episode is “And Maggie makes three”, that is when Homer tells the story of Maggie’s birth. In a scene of this episode, Homer have to go back to work on the nuclear plant after having resigned days ago, because the family needed money for the baby. Mr. Burns lets him come back, but he puts a plate on it that says: “Don’t forget, you´re here forever”.

I don´t know if you have seen this episode, but the final is very touching, because Homer white with all the photos of Maggie: “Do it for her”.

The Simpson is a series very funny and comical but also have moments very touching, that reflect the love for the family.

                  

BBS Paranoicos

Today I want to talk about my experience in my first concert, how strangely it was this year.

In my life, never had gone to a concert, but always I had wanted to go one, especially for see my favorite band, BBS Paranoicos.  

This band I´ve known for many years, when I was in the school, maybe six years ago. Is a Chilean band, the music that they play is punk and rock especially, and I admire them very much.

Therefore, this year this band take out a new album ´´Delusional´´, and along with this, they would to a concert for its launch. They said it would be awesome, with the best production and they expected it to be very special for everyone.

So, I bought the tickets and I went with my boyfriend to see them.

It was awesome, really had a great time, I enjoyed it a lot.

We sing all the songs and I had no voice at the end of the concert, it was very funny.

PD:  my boyfriend didn’t had a great time because he had to protect me from the people who pushed and hit, something very common in a rock concert.

A U S T R A L I A

A country I'd like to visit is Australia, located in Oceania.

It's a very beautiful country, with a so magnificent nature and a architecture very interesting, like Opera house in Sydney.

  

I love this country because the weather is so perfect for me and the beaches in Australia is the most beautiful in the entire world, like Whitehaven beach, in Whitsunday Island. 

One of the things that more I like this place is the landscapes, is a masterpieces made by nature, the forests, the lakes, mountains, etc. Really is places that I'd like to visit someday.

One of the cities that more I like in Australia is Melbourne and Sydney, because the architecture is so interesting and have beautiful buildings that I would like to meet.  

I'd like to study in Australia because the same reason, and I know people who have studied there and they says that Australia have very good education and the work in Australia is better that in other countries.

And besides there are cutes animals, like koalas and kangaroos♥ 

Studying in Santiago

For me, Santiago is one of the cities in Chile with best universities and education in general, with more careers and labor field, but the life of the youngers who travel to Santiago to study, changes a lot, with the subway and the disrespectful people, the chaos of the city, the individuality, etc. They are factors that worsen the quality of life of the people who come to Santiago looking for a nice experience. Santiago is the city of the stress.
